EMERSON Collection

Not to be confused with the glossy campus just a few blocks over, EMERSON collection is a Boston-based line by designer Jackier Fraser-Swan, located in the fashion famous neighborhood of Newbury Street.  I caught sight of their work in a Boston style magazine and was immediately turned on by their guarantee of loose, athletic tastes that somehow blended with this perfect femininity and care.  The sharp lines that layered delicate fabrics, the muted tones of abstract Rorschach-reminiscent prints.  My favorite pieces from the collection had this arctic sort of color scheme that I found to be so subdued and calm in contrast to the loud effervescence of many ss12 trends.  (I love both, of course, but it's interesting to go to a place of that polarity.  Heh, bravo for puns of no real humor.)  Maybe you caught me, maybe I'm just looking for a reason to take a stroll down Newbury Street, but this brand has totally snatched my eyes' obsession and I really am curious to know what the clothing is like to my other senses.  A brand to keep ears open to in the future.  I have below a few images from their site, but I'm including a link, as well, in hopes you all explore a little bit.  How do you like them?
